Schoolroom Now

077
I have been MIA around here lately.  But don’t think I haven’t been busy, because I HAVE!  I have made new pillows for my recovered sofa.
080
I am loving the way it looks in front of the art wall and with the covered lampshades.
082
I also recovered this chair and made new drapes.
087
Not to mention updated the mantel.

Last, I hung some antique silver trays under the school desk to use as memo boards.

Next week the girls and I are going to make decorative magnets for the boards.

I hope to be back soon with more.

Swooning - I may need to rest on that fabulous sofa to catch my breath!

Love everything about this room - from the wall art (and that fabulous car grill) to the dough bowl and stacked suitcases and globe ...

Happy to be a new follower.

Wow! I'm so glad I found your blog via the shabby creek cottage. Not only do I love this room and your style, but I've been contemplating homeschooling my kids for a while now. I think your blog might help me work up the nerve...

I am loving this school room!!! My kids have been wandering around doing their school work lately, and I was telling my husband the other day that I needed "stations" or something, so they could work by themselves, but stay in one place. Totally loving that big, long work desk!
Great job!

Oh I love all of the art! And I love the bold art in contrast with the modern utilitarian designs. Fabulous!

Looking good, Charity!! Missed your blog, though I'm way behind on my reading. Haven't forgotten about you and would love to try to hook up. What does next week look like for you?
